What the site is

CampFit Atlas publishes campground length limits quoted from National Park Service, Recreation.gov and authorized concessioner pages, each with its source and the date it was read, and an RV fit calculator that adds up the rig dimensions you type and compares them with a driveway length or a published limit. The fit rules, the safety margin and the default gaps are this site's editorial assumptions, stated on the methodology page and on every page that uses them.

Information only, not professional advice

Everything on CampFit Atlas is general information. It is not professional, engineering, legal or financial advice, and it does not replace someone who can look at your situation.

Campground limits, site assignments and road vehicle-size restrictions are set by the agency or concessioner that runs them and can change after the date shown on a page. The official page, the campground staff and posted signs always win over this site. The site makes no availability claim, takes no reservations, and does not judge turning room, overhead clearance or approach angles at any campsite. A "fits" result is arithmetic on published numbers, not a promise that your rig will get into a particular site.

Accuracy and sources

Every figure is meant to match the source named beside it on the date shown. Sources change, and mistakes happen; the source's current version governs. If you find a figure that does not match its source, the contact page says how to report it.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The site and its calculators are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness and fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CampFit Atlas is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the site, its figures or its calculators. You are responsible for checking anything you rely on against the official source.

Independence and trademarks

CampFit Atlas is independent and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the agencies and concessioners it quotes. Names and marks, including National Park Service and Recreation.gov names, belong to their owners and are used only to identify what is being discussed.

Links and reuse

You may link to any page on this site. Links out go to the official campground, agency and concessioner pages it quotes; those sites have their own terms and this site is not responsible for them. Quoting a figure with a link back is welcome; reproducing the data tables or pages in bulk needs permission, requested at hello@campfitatlas.com.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of the page changes when they do.
